Public Lecture: Attachment Theory and Circle of Security Parenting

Heather Craige, MSW, Psychoanalyst, will present key concepts from attachment theory and illustrate how these ideas can be simply and powerfully conveyed to parents using the Circle of Security ® Parenting™ video and graphics.

Who should attend:

  • Everyone interested in the welfare of children and their caregivers.
  • Professionals who care for families in agencies, clinics or private practice.
  • Parent educators who serve in a variety of settings: preschools, elementary schools, faith-based organizations, adoption agencies, pediatric or OB/gyn offices, La Leche League, mental health clinics, substance abuse programs, departments of social services, public health clinics, community health centers, family medicine practices, and prisons.

Circle of Security® Parenting is an evidence-based, four-day training program for mental health professionals and parent educators who work with families. The training will be coming to Cary, North Carolina on February 23-26, 2016.
