The Psychoanalytic Referral Service is sponsored by the Psychoanalytic Education Center of the Carolinas. In a telephone consultation, you can discuss the problems leading you to seek help, the kind of help you have in mind, and any questions you have regarding psychoanalytic treatment. You will be provided with the names of one or more clinicians whom you can contact to schedule an appointment. The telephone referral service is free; fees charged for in-person appointments will vary among clinicians. In some cases clinicians may adjust your fee based on your financial circumstances.
