The and The present From Delight to Wisdom: Traveling the Path to Mental Health
A full day that includes two workshops for professionals and The NCPF 7th Annual Public Lecture For additional information, please download our brochure. You also can register online now. Survival, Vision and Faith: Three Pillars of the Therapeutic Attitude Professional Workshop (9:00–10:30am)
The literature on psychotherapy and psychoanalysis focuses mainly on the speaking and listening activities of the therapist with little written about the development and sustenance of his or her attitude. This workshop will explore this new territory by describing three important components of the therapeutic attitude: survival, vision and faith. The description of each will be accompanied by a visual metaphor best capturing the attitude, developmental underpinnings, and clinical material.
